  • Amy Nicole Stewart LMT LA3118

Amy has been practicing and studying massage professionally for more than twenty years. Massage has always been very natural for her and she first learned to give massage as a toddler from her parents’ physical therapists as they were recovering from a bad car accident. Later Amy would also be involved in car accidents that would cause her to get into bodywork and massage therapy by the suggestion of her doctors and physical therapists at the age of 18. Amy is grateful for the opportunity to work with others as they work through their pain and traumas. As the old saying goes, “The issues are in the tissues.” Amy has studied many Eastern methods and has over 20,000 hours in hands on work and continues her training in sports therapies, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage techniques, traditional healing and Thai Massage. Learning and growing, constantly.

Jackie was born to do bodywork. She has the hands and the skills to give you one of the best deep tissue massages she will ever have. She has just returned to NOLA Massage after sabbatical. Book a session with her and find out why she is a favorite of so many. Her hands are truly blessed. We will be posting a full bio soon.

  • Roxanne Mayard LMT LA9075

Roxanne graduated from Delgado Massage Therapy Program in 2017 and has been licensed since 2019. The daughter of a nurse, she has always been fascinated with the human body and its amazing abilities. Her passion for massage was born out of a quest for alternative therapies to help with her mother’s chronic pain. While some massage helped her mother immensely, Roxanne noticed that a lot of therapists had a “no pain no gain” philosophy and her mother would end up in more pain from some sessions. She was inspired to learn therapeutic touch and her mission is to remind the body how it functions as a whole, while also calming the nervous system which allows the body and mind to truly relax. Her approach to massage is “do no harm” by using firm but non-invasive techniques to achieve pain-free deep massage. She combines many different modalities to provide client-centered and outcome-based sessions tailored to suit each person’s needs. Her sessions are intuitive, soothing, and safe. With a constant thirst for learning, she has taken continuing education courses in sciatic pain relief, stretching, Thai massage, facial gua sha, hot stones, and cupping and has a special interest in trauma informed touch. When she is not doing bodywork, you can find her curled up with her cat and her nose in a book. (Photo coming soon)
